Ashley Emery, PFc, Herbalist, Pelvic Steam Therapist

AdminVaginal steaming brought me physical and emotional relief.

There was a time when my womb invoked feelings of shame, inadequacy, insecurity, frustration, and even fear. I spent many years running in circles with conventional doctors over what felt like never-ending reproductive concerns such as endometriosis, cysts, fibroids, infections – you name it.

During each visit, the doctor either brushed my symptoms aside or made me feel like it was all in my head. I reached a turning point after the loss of an ovary (from a tumor) and suffering a prolapse after giving birth to a miracle baby.

That turning point came while sitting over my first pot of herbs for vaginal steaming. I felt relief physically and emotionally wash over me and went from pain and fighting to immediate comfort and body reconnection.

Vaginal steaming made me feel hopeful, and I saw immediate results along with indescribable improvement or elimination of symptoms. Most of all, I found immense peace. This experience led to nurturing a deep love in back to my body, primarily through plants and intuition.

Now, I offer the same healthcare to others.

I found vaginal steaming and womb work to be affordable and liberating self-care practices.

Ultimately, I could not keep my life-altering womb healing to myself, leading me to become certified as a Vaginal/Pelvic Steam Facilitator and Menstrual Analyst with the steam queen herself, Keli Garza of Steamy Chick.

My experience triggered a calling to support healing and reconnection for others who struggled as I had. As a result, I completed various Herbalist and Somatic Womb courses and certifications. I am beyond proud to work alongside these one-of-a-kind doctors and other practitioners of different modalities and skills.

I adore teaching and spreading awareness about this ancient practice, holistic approaches, period care, and the positive impacts plants and our GEMC team can have on womb health.
