Adam
Adam* is concerned about where and how his life is going. He’s also unsatisfied with his lack of meaningful relationships and can tell he’s getting in his own way.
He knows he works too much, is overly self-critical, and numbs himself with distractions. His body is tired of pushing so hard and never getting enough sleep or self-care. Part of him wants to give up and let the overwhelm consume him, but another part says maybe there is hope.
He would like to believe in himself; if only he could look in the mirror and see anything other than a big, fat failure.
Jennifer
Jennifer* feels frustrated with herself. She’s done ‘all the right things’ but still doesn’t have the life she wants. She dreams of feeling happy, free, loved, and confident in her body.
The sad reality is that she can’t get past the way her family treated her growing up or how cultural expectations have made her suffer. Now, her body is in constant physical pain, while the doctors tell her it must be in her head since all the tests came back normal.
“If that’s true, then why do I always feel on edge?” she wonders desperately. “Am I going crazy?” She can’t focus or shut down the voices in her head that tell her it’s all her fault. She just wants someone to listen to her and believe her.
Lily
Lily* feels worried about the future. She’s always exhausted and afraid that she can’t keep up or do what she wants to do. She’s been running on fumes for far too long, knowing she’s missing some key that will unlock the part of her that feels alive.

Adam, Jennifer and Lily made a commitment to transform their lives by working with us at GEMC.
Adam
Adam came in for Sovereignty Therapy; the idea of freedom from what his life had become was so appealing to him. Working together, he identified the reasons he didn’t feel worthwhile and, with courage and help from our doctor, let go of the old beliefs.
He discovered that work can be fun and rewarding, so he quit his tiresome job and is doing what he loves, getting paid well for it. Once he unlocked the door of his passion, the need to numb himself was gone.
Now, he wakes every morning feeling refreshed and enjoys living each moment of his life; it’s like a dream he never thought could happen for him.
Jennifer
Jennifer came to see our doctor for Quantum Bodywork, and after the first session, her pain was reduced by half. She was able to think clearly for the first time in years.
